Michael R. Capitena
I graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture. Since graduating, I have held many leadership roles in and outside of the profession.
I believe well designed space should showcase a close harmony between natural and manufactured elements. I am mindful of the way the materials interact with the environment and how it affects our footprint. I take inspiration from landscape architects such as Dan Kiley and Garrett Eckbo and appreciate how they blended their modernistic techniques with the installed spaces they created.
I currently reside in the low country, with my wife. In my spare time I enjoy fishing, traveling and exploring.
