Historic District Front Yard Designs
Design options were created for a historic house in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. The designs used similar plant palettes featuring hollies, hydrangeas, ground covers, and iconic boxwood trees. The residence was then featured in a local high end magazine distributed throughout Kentucky.
Traditional Formal Design
The design featured crushed aggregate walkways edged in cobblestones. The raised area on the left of the property featured a focal red maple and a seating area. The right side of the yard included a water feature.

Low Impact Design
This design featured stepping stone pathways that ended with seating areas on both ends of the site. This design used minimal base materials to create little to no disturbance to the site.

Modernized Formal Design
This design featured a cross between traditional and non traditional pathways. The simplified design focused on more softscapes and less hardscapes, to help the client move throughout the space.
